Hook removal(from self)

Just a FYI for people who don't know how to remove a hook from ones self or friends. Google it and learn the technique. Its pretty easy and almost painless. I buried a subinki hook in my index finger while fighting a thresher last night. I had to leave it there for 4 hours, and get help loading my kayak(Thank you kind sir whoever you are) I got home researched, did the fishing string technique, quick, painless.(karma for leaveing the hook and leader in that thresher I guess. Good thing I didn't kill it!)

I had to pull a hook out of Oside last year in the HH bass tournament. I highly recommend Tuna Cord over line, It gives you a better grip and is stronger.

The technique does work very well though. Just push down on the hook eye and pull.
