Opinions on Fish finders

I'm looking for a fish finder. I have my eye on the Eagle Cuda 350/GPS. Those of you that have this unit I would like your opinions and good/bad thoughts as well.

Thanks

I had my Eagle/Cuda 350 installed a few weeks back and only used it 2 times. Happy so far. Depth and tempeature are easy to read.
Reading the monitor in the sunlight is fine and the GPS is easy to use.

I have the Eagle/Cuda 250/gps an older model of the 350. I think the only difference is the 350 is black and the 250 is grey. The thing is bullet proof!!! I had it for about 3 years now and have had no problems with it. All I do is rinse it off every once in awhile and it keeps on ticking. The gps is easy to use and the sonar give a good picture. I have my transducer mounted in a foam block you can get from your local Hobie dealer, I think it costs $3.00 for the block. Goop the block down and not the transducer, when the goop is dry add water in the block and pop in the transducer (the block is made to fit the transducer perfectly). You be able to see your jig @ 100ft down. Just my .02

I did look at this model, but it was fairly large. Color monitor is nice though.

Chris,

I am about to get the HD5 X! you totally ruined my special moment!
How is it? I am a mere month away from it. Did you throw in a new transducer? I want to know.
