A pool noodle (also known as a water log) is a cylindrical piece of polyethylene foam, sometimes hollow. Pool noodles may used by people of all ages while swimming. They are useful when learning to swim, for floating, for rescue reaching, in various forms of water play, and for aquatic exercise. Pool noodles are particularly useful to support amateur snorkelers.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pool_noodle I cut about ~6", and wrap my sabiki around it when I am done. FWIW, I like to have all my gear tied up before I get out there. Just drive down Ave. de la playa until it ends on the sand. There are no parking meters, just park on the street. |

I can't friggin believe it.....
Well guys, it looks like I won't be able to go out after all.....
I go to Bass Pro Shops to get a few items/have a nice dinner with my family before going out tomorrow and my 4 year old projectile vomits all over me in front of people eating and by the time we get home has a 103 degree fever.... Thanks to you all (especially Eric!!) for the tips/talk. I WILL get out there sooner rather than later..... Again, I'm going out on the Seahorse out of Dana Point on Sunday, September 6th for an overnighter if any of you guys want to hang!! I'm going to call Eric to let him know asap what happened btw... Mike (P.S. I know how Bloodydecks folks can call bullshit without pics so if anyone wants any of my hawaii shirt with the oreo vomit, just let me know!) |

family comes first
You can fish till the day you die, but your kids will grow up an on before you know it. Take care of them first. My wife and I married very young and we're working on our 28th year; two grown up daughters and 2 soon to be 3 grandkids. love it.
The big one will wait for you. |
