Yesterday was a bust, apart from a scenic misty morning.

Since the fish seem to be on vacation I figured today was a good day to try a new toy. Launched through some nasty steep short period stuff at high tide but got out mostly dry. No bait to be found. Met up with the lamb crew for the grand opening of MadSci's OTW Bar and Grill.

New grill worked great. Swapped brats for bait and drifted all the usual inside spots for nada. Rockfish spots were mainly producing medium starries. Big pack of juvenile and young adult sea lions making a big commotion.

These little bastards are gonna be nothing but trouble later on, I have a feeling. Not sure what they were doing, the adults were wrestling each others while the pups just stared at me.

Off the water early (for me) since it was dead. This sucks...

Bring that thing to Colonet in May... I'd like to do a 12 hour shift out there!
