Read my post about the 2006 Adventure. The same applies to the Outback of that era.

Check the Drive Well Area for any cracks.

One thing i dont like about that year is that the new custom Hobie bait tank does not fit back there. (The cooler insert gets in the way of that) So youll have to build this yourself. I say you buy for $600 and flip it on craigslist for $900
