I have this kayak, and a 5 gallon bucket style works very good. I will try to post up some close up pics later.

Thanks for the information and picture.....looks like that bucket fits perfect back there....where is the battery located?

It is a Pelican box bolted onto the bucket, I also have 3 rod holders bolted to the back of the bucket for rod storage... I have to give my friend Grego credit for building this tank!

here are some pics to Grego's "Nemo" tank.
5 gallon bucket, you can see the pvc, it just needs to be flush w/ bottom of kayak, goes through scupper hole. atwood pump, you must poor water through it, or unscrew, and "pump" pvc up and down through scupper hole until water spits out. best if pump is turned on. yeah i know how that sounds. you can secure to a padeye with a strap and clip. I have 3 rod holders on the back here is how I drain water drill some holes in back. you can use a water jug spigot for a drain at the end of the day. |
