I drop straight down and quickly yo-yo up 20 -30 cranks, droping back down a couple of feet then repeat.
Check out this video. I am not a salesman. I think that there are other jigs out there that are just as good and less expensive but the technique is what works. http://www.wahoonbox.com/videos/BUTTERFLY.wmv

Butterfly Jig
I have never used that kind of jig before but have some that I picked up a while back. Can someone Please explain how it is rigged?

There are alot of sport fishing legends that are big believers in the 45 degree grind.
Variety is what works in my opinion.
