After kayaking my fish between my legs....
Cradling it, as it takes its final heart beats.
I thank my lord and savor for this great fish. Heading back in early a.m. still dark.i can hear the surf up ahead. I was prepared to flip had everything leashed down. As a rookie kayak coming in the day light was tuff enough let alone in the dark. So I get close to the danger zone and just Bonsia it....ten thousand years of long life ![]() ![]() ![]() Over turn I go thankfully I'm only in 3 ft of water. No big deal I grab my kayak fish on leach and everything else. Mission accomplished. I'm the only one on a dark empty beach. I get my kayak dollie that was locked to a wood pole barrier and load up.for the long walk to my truck. Anybody that fishes LJ knows you can get a closer parking early morning than at the end of the day for night 🌙 fishing, excluding the parking lot. Pulling my kayak with squeaky wheels trying to be as quiet as possible last think I want to do is wake a local up. I'm hearing a patsy cline song in my head finally I reach my truck and have to load kayak up on my rack im tried first attempt no Bueno it comes ?rashing down bouncing off the concert street and BTW a concert st is a concrete st with alot of alleys that echo 🎶 👂 i listen to see if i woke anybody up from disturbing neighbors. Good nobody yelled at me I parked in. Still dark by the time I got home and weigh my fish as the sun 🌞 was coming up 47lbs. But looked bigger I think my scale was off.
