I really like the round barrel crimps....
As a slide stop✋️ and to keep 316 stainless wire rope from fraying and cutting your hands ✋️

The hardest part about any of this is the owner snap ring
Technique is everything with snap ring pliers
If your not careful and slip ouch.... The pliers I have don't open the snap ring far enough, so I forced to shove an ice pick into the ring to open it wider. I'm in the process of designing a hook safe snap ring jig device to put in my vice. The green cord is a trophy snapped when it hit the deck on a 175 bluefin
