Reminds me of a story of someone going out for Bugs in the same conditions...

As long as you are prepaired and know what you are doing. This guy yesterday was smart enough to evaluate the situation and come to a conclusion that was to his advanage. I would not have gone out alone in those conditions even though I and comfortable with the use of my GPS and compass. I would worry about the motorized Jack Asses out there that would use me as a speed bump.
Be safe out ther my friends.

Guys launching safely (or not) into that stuff is what keeps boards like this alive. IMO there are other better online forums for rod and reel discussion, to sell something, and to get into childish arguments. Even the name and slogan of this site, "BWE- Kayak Fishing Adventures", implies that there should be some sort of kayak fishing adventures shared. This board would suck balls if no one ever posted a report, or if people only posted a report from when it is nice and sunny with no wind. All of the pseudo lurkers that get by with only posting something like "Nice " every once in a while would be bored out of their mind. Yes, you should post "Nice " sometimes, but follow my lead and sprinkle in a few reports every now and then about how to not catch fish. Without reports, this would be like some sort of weird Circle Jerk, with people congratulating each other on fish that were never caught and continually seeing the same posts about what kayak gear is the best (use the search function people!).

Above all, be safe, use discretion, know your limits, respect mother nature, catch some fish (or not catch fish in my case), and most of all- Respect the new lobster smilie beeyatches!!!!!!
