For Sale: (2) 2011 Hobie Outbacks
Hey All, I'm selling a couple 2011 Hobie Outbacks, they just don't get use anymore and have been in indoor storage for a few years. Here are the specs: 2011 Hobie Outback. Yellow color. Has mirage drive pedal system and the twist and stow rudder. Has upgraded turbo fins and improved large sailing rudder. Has original lightweight paddle. Has the nicer inflatable padded seat that they introduced on the 2011 boats (I believe it was 2011). Comes with Lawrence Elite 5 color fish finder and a new battery in a waterproof Pelican case, with a trickle charger. Comes with a brand new seat just replaced this summer. Also has a set of Hobie Wheeleez Beach wheels for easy transporting to the water. Comes with lots of other misc parts like a gaff, club, rod holders, large metal game clip, dry bags, leashes, size L/XL life vest, tackleboxes and other small items. The battery connector has a bit of wear on it too and can be a bit finnicky, but everything works fine still and it too could be replaced with a new connector. I'd like to get $1,450 for it, but will consider all reasonable offers. It is a complete setup for fishing on the ocean (or lakes if you prefer). Being an older kayak some of the bungee lines are losing their elasticity, the main one being the line that holds the paddle in place, but it can be replaced easily. The second kayak is a 2011 Hobie Outback also. Yellow color, completely original with standard mirage drive system and fins, and standard twist and stow rudder. Original lightweight paddle. Has the nicer inflatable padded seat that they introduced on the 2011 boats (I believe it was 2011). I don't even know what is fair for this, $1,000? $950? Again, easonable offers will be considered. Everything is currently functional on both boats but I want to be transparent there's some age on these and some of the bungee lines are really the main thing that may need some love. The boats are in great shape, the bodies have general wear and tear on them but I always applied a sun protectant on them after each use, and they were stored covered indoors. I'm located in Long Beach, CA and the boats are stored at my house by CSULB.
