Making Time

Took an opportunity to make time for myself. Work, kids school, girls softball, auto repairs, and parents have kept me off the water. Today I got out early without my bro. Launched at 0545 from the Shelter Island Launch ramp for the first time. Unloaded my yak in minutes. Would definitely launch from there again. Spent 3.5 hours on calm water, little breeze. Could feel a change in the seasons. Slow action from launch ramp to the lower range marker. Caught a few which brought peace to my soul. Big ol seal was killing it at the launch ramp. Killing it.

My count: 4 spotties is, 1 croaker, and 1 Mack.

Go get some peace for your soul my fishing family.
