There was a 20lb+ Bonita on a full day boat below Coronados

Hard to tell w/o seeing rod tip, but looked like tail vibrations of a jumbo Bonita from the way the base of the rod shook and speed, apparent horizontal run. Or maybe one of the released BFTs was looking for its old pen to get fed. If it was heading to structure - YT. Or if the rod tip was more big head shakes, WSB like to feed under Barries. Nice adrenaline rush for you.

Man idk but it sure looked like a hell of a lot of fun except for the heartbreak at the end. Keep up the good work!

Fun to watch, probably pretty frustrating to star in! Only critique was that the rod was pointing straight at the fish, not up at 90 degrees a lot near the end. Great to be on the water fighting a big fish! You will likely remember this one for awhile.

What was it?

Thresher maybe. How did the end of the leader look? Also what did you have on your hook when you got bit?

I have a kastmaster spoon, the leader broke just next to the know.

Sad part of the history is it happened something similar yesterday but I will share that history and video later... not all was sad
