Santa Cruz Kayaks Raptor G2 - $1250
You can read about it here: https://santacruzkayaks.com/raptor-g2/ I have the standard kit, with just a typical soft kayak seat, not the hard boat seat (because I'd often hop up the back and crawl across the seat to get seated) but you can mount any seat you like on it. I also have the fairly trick single wheel carrier that mounts on the front of the kayak, so you can move it around like a wheelbarrow, even on sand. This boat is awesome, it's rock solid and stable, I have been hauling myself out of the water with weights and fins on and it's been trivial, never flipped. It's got a ton of room for a cooler and has rod holders and a gear pod, and you can swap in a pedal drive unit. I live in Burlingame, CA but I'm willing to meet any reasonable (1.5hrs) drive away, or we meet in the middle. |
