Kamprite: original vs. compact

I know a lot of kayak fishermen like the Kamprite cot tents, especially for Baja.

The "compact" models seem, well, more compact. How are they for durability?

For those that have them and/or have used them, which type would you buy, "Original"/"Tri-fold" or "Compact"/"Collapsible"?

I have the original. Unless your 5'5" and a 130lbs it will be too small for you. Get at least the oversize or the double. I've had mine for 3-4 years now and use it a couple times a year. Nothing has really broken yet.

Thanks jruiz for your input.

I went ahead yesterday evening and ordered the Collapsible XL for an upcoming trip. We will see how it holds up.
