That does not sound good at all. Hope he was revived. Scary situation.


*Edit* sounds like he did pull through and hopefully fully recovers.

Face down, not a good thing and makes it sound as if he wasn't wearing a PFD. Always wear a PFD.

From what I'm hearing from those that were out there he was wearing a pfd but his face was down for some reason(seems like a pfd should prevent that?).

He apparently yelled for help and fell in and when some of the kayak fishermen got to him his eyes were open and they thought he was dead. They were saying he appeared experienced based on the gear he had and how organized it was.

Iceman, where did you hear that he pulled through? I'm not seeing that on the news sites. I SO hope that's the case, it's very sad and weird.

latest report is he is stable but unconscious in hospital.

The Type III PFDs most of us wear won't turn an unconscious person upright. For that I think you need a Type I or II.

I hope he pulls through. Haven't seen an update today.
