That's my typical strategy, but it wasn't working at all. The only point I've gotten any nibbles was listing at $600...

By the way, letgo is annoying as hell. I'm getting consistent "I'm Interested" messages with ZERO followups. I really dont understand why their app works like it does.....

My goal is to be able to safely cover long distances (like cross the channel to Catalina and Anacapa), so no matter what it needs to be both pedal and paddle power compatible. I have sticker shock over the Hobies, but there isn't a price you can put on either comfort, or safety.

I'm in school again this semester so I have time to look around and wait. I have a few other things I'll be selling soon to hopefully expedite the process (I hate financing toys...)

I actually think the new Outback is a great value.

Buy it for 2800. Use it for 3 years and if you decide to get out of the sport you can probably sell it for 2300.

Buy a non Hobie kayak for 2k and you will be lucky to get 1k back
