Agreed the HDS is technically better and priced accordingly. Hook series selling point is value and ease of use.

I’ve been thinking of elite ti for a while but can’t seem to justify the cost.. I will stick with my HDS for now and learn to use it better. Brian |

I would keep using the HDS. I have an Elite HDS 5 Gen 2 that I have used for about 4 years and currently is used on my 2016 Malibu X Factor. My main unit an Elite TI 7 is on my 2016 Revo 13, there are a few features I really like on the TI but I still know how to use the HDS better.
