Is the point on hook supposed to be like that? It looks like it got bent over some.

And Harry that's an octopus off set circle hook, not sure if it's the best hook to use, its new to me, I think it's more of a rock fish hook....then tuna or yellowtail I could be wrong and you can't go wrong with a treble hook.
