Big thanks to Andy

No seabass so we headed to deeper water. This would be my maiden voyage on a new Ocean Kayak Trident 15 that I picked up from Oex Sunset Beach. What a way to break the skunk. Nothing crazy, just some fairly large models of chuckles with some reds mixed in. My friend limited on same but solely reds. Seemed to be a quiet day as far as the croakers. Maybe everyone is tight lipped and not talking? One thing is for sure, nothing beats a nice steak of the sweet taste of a large model croaker but some fresh fish tacos would be a close second. I also picked up a rack for my truck and will post pics asap. Thanks again for taking care of me.

A limit of super tasty rockfish is a nice constellation prize I'd say.

Trident 15

This platform is top notch. Paired it up with my hds 3 and glued a hdi 83/200 transducer to the bottom of the kayak. What a superb picture. I could see an 8 Oz. torpeedo falling at 150ft. The bait tank is something that I pieced together. If someone is looking for a solid paddling kayak, this platform is hard to beat. It takes a little something to get it going, but it is a fast dry ride and pretty remarkably stable for how narrow it is. Handles surf well but due to its higher profile compared to the 13, wind is more of an issue. I opted for 15 due to weight capacity. I only weigh 175 lbs. and with all my gear I felt that the 13 might not have enough capacity. Storage is amazing and the ability to stow rods in a matter of minutes is priceless. On land is a different story. It is a beast. Weighing well over 83 stripped down and over 15 ft long. This kayak is not for everyone. Tight lines everyone.
