There are a lot of different knots out there, but I stick with these three:
San Diego Jam - Used for all line to hook, swivel, iron, etc connections. Alberto - Used for all line-to-line connections. Spyder Hitch - Used for dropper loop/reverse dropper loop rig. I have never had a problem with these personally but as mentioned above wetting and ensuring the knot is cinched down is pretty important. |
