I caught some bait, (don't even have a bait tank yet, put them in a laundry bag hanging off the side) hooked one up and thew it over the side. I forgot my battery to my fishfinder, so I just kinda followed other Kayaks out there. I was crusing along trying to catch more bait with another rod with a Sabiki and WAM! I was in shock it happened so quick. Fought for a good 15 - 20 minutes. Can't wait to go back when I have the chance.

haha I want to say beginners luck, but you obviously did some research and were doing everything right in order to catch that fish!
