First Cow BFT

Great post Bob, some awesome dreams already shared.

I was able to be a part of catching the largest fish of my life, and it will take some time to beat (especially in CA). My buddy Mike runs a kayak charter company (Fish Village) and called me up asking if I was willing to play hooky from work to head out on a 4 pack charter targeting tuna. He used the magical word (FREE!) and without hesitate I let the boss know I would be "sick".

Just as my luck normally goes, weather cancelled the original trip and it was pushed at day (to a Saturday..... so the crowds would be out) Well thanks to the amazing guys at Seasons Sportfishing, we were able to hook this beast within 20 minutes of the jumjumflyer hitting the water!

As there was 4 of us we took turns reeling on the cow, and after 2:25 minutes it was on the boat. Ended up being 193 gutted, and the gut pile pulled out of this beast was easily 20+ lbs. It nearly straitened a 1/2 inch SS gaff hook while trying to boat it. Amazing day I doubt will be topped in some time.....
