I have been using lower cost spinning reels and have finally put together my best of both worlds scenario! Here, I also show a lot of what I have learned over the years to keep these reels in service among the rigors of kayak fishing. Affordable reliable reels coupled with proper maintenance is a must for the avid kayak surf launcher. Some good splash footage included!
