Angry Why

The reason it closed is because it was at least partially self-dependent with the revenue it generated from the site. There is probably nobody that could give you a figure as to how much it costs to run or how much income is generated, but that doesn't seem to matter. They need to have something that is a complete waste of money such as doing a one person study of where on the anatomy hurts worst when stung by a bee. Now that is worth a million bucks, but being able to use our campgrounds?
Sorry, I haven't had my coffee yet. Maybe I should have a Snickers to go with it....

I have been riding off road up there for over 20 years. We park in Troy Overflow and its free. Theres no need for a camp host or anything. Theres no toilets or water. Everyone cleans up. Very fun place to be.

It has some tough riding and more so just needs trail maintenance and trees cut when they fall after winter. The green sticker money should pay for the trail maintience. In the past we have been up fist week open and had to carry our bikes over the down trees. We would mark them on maps for the forest service to come back and buck the trees.

Tons of fun up there.
