When I resided in Humboldt County, I used to fish the streams, rivers and ocean a lot with a pair of Hodgman Neoprene waders and wading boots. Nothing fancy, but worked fine and I still have them nearly 10 years later and they still work fine.
You'll probably find a breathable pair to be more comfortable though. Higher quality Brands are: Orvis, Simms or Patagonia. Sierra Trading Post often has deals Kokatat is a very quality brand that provides nice alternatives to waders for those in Northern climates. If you go the wader route to always wear a pdf and wading belt. Be sure to share some pics. Oh how I miss the North Pacific! |

Waders!
Defiantly breathable, you can always where long johns or sweats underneath, those neoprene ones are little congested if you know what i mean.
Hodgman is what i have an I love them. |
