Hot bite continues at LJ! 1/16
Bled on water, weighed 28.6 pounds on digital fish scale. That's a 100 qt cooler. Get your butt out there! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by bolocop; 01-16-2016 at 12:57 PM. |

Get out early guys! Bite slowed to a trickle after 9-930.

Looks like slack tide hit around then? Current moving good early. Saw so many schools on the meter early, I couldn't believe it.

Bait! Tried yoyo on all the schools, no takers. All hookups I saw were dead stick.

Thanks for the info. I was thinking of going out but noticed small craft advisory. How was the swell and surf out there? Its just awesome your catching quality fish this early.

Everyone catching. Swell wasn't an issue on the inside where everyone was fishing.
I did wheel my kayak to the launch. I saw the surf towards the lifeguard tower and it was huge. Didn't take a chance and wheeled the extra distance. I miss the launch! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Use either one, it'll work on this bite.
Work the bottom half of the water column for sure. You don't have to go far and don't pass the schools up to join everyone else. I started marking them at the mlpa line on my finder. Good luck... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
