I used a foodsaver to bag a half of a beef, 275lbs packaged and it never hiccuped.

I have purchased 4 Foodsavers and will never buy another. Vacmaster all the way. Much better Vacuum, seal and bags. And it does not overheat after 6 or 8 seals. If you plan on sealing a good bit of fish or game it is worth every penny.

Others bang out their share of sealed fish too, lol. Here's my work around in price and over-heating. With two daughters in college, buying two foodsavers over the past few years moves me along just fine. Jim
