I really like the idea of the rod pod on the OK Tridents. I will be using it as a dive platform for spearfishing also. I've invested a good amount in my gun and fins and want to make sure they are safely stored when entering/exiting the surf.

By rod pod, do you mean the square hatch in front of the seat? There is a big hatch in front of the XFactor. I can't say if it will work for you or not. |

When I say rod pod I'm talking about a hatch that opens into the hull of the kayak. This would allow me to store a speargun and fins in the boat rather than tie them on top.

I have an 11T for the wife, and a 13T for myself. Love them, but I wish I could sell the 11T, but the wife still wants it even though she's used it once in 2 years.... Not that you're looking for an 11 anyways. |

It may be a bit of a reach, but there may be a trident 13 for sale in Phoenix on Craigslist for $650. They might meet you gila bend or Yuma. It's been for sale for a while.
We have family in Phoenix so I check that Craigslist. |

A cheap trident ? Might as well look for the real Santa Claus...
I was looking for one for a while before and doesn't happen... The used ones go close to what Andy is selling his new for.. If you do then great but been down that road and not easy... Some tips are to try northern areas as they sell a lot up there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
