Had some free time late this morning. Ended up and boat ramp at 10.30 am to a very high tide. Was only a short walk from the parking spot.

Bait barge only had chovies. I forgot my bait tank battery so decided to skip bait. Trolled a small Berkley shad... looks like an anchovie and caught 4 macs just outside the harbor, about 100 yds from the long jetty wall. Bucket ed water in the tank and Continued straight out to 255 ft. Had one mac fly lined the other down deeper. Looked and found patties but nothing to show for.

A couple of nervous bait and short runs but nothing. Water was 70.

Off the water by 1.30. Until next time.
