Awesome catches, Congrats ! Being how much the Japanese love fish, I would have thought that their waters are fished pretty hard/picked clean -- surprised to see big catches like that right off the coast near a major population...and you caught them on rapalas....not even live bait....outstanding !

Thanks guys. One of the yellowtail this weekend hit the X-Rap. They definitely work. I noticed my older ones have pretty bad internal rust problems though, so bad the wire rusted through and hook fell off one of my 30 Magnums. They work well but be prepared to change them out even after washing them. The lure I got the yellowfin on has water inside.
The new rod leashes worked great for trolling, made for good hook holders on the big lures too! Last edited by philr21; 10-13-2015 at 03:25 AM. |
