LJ webcam

I watch the webcam most mornings to watch people getting set up. I noticed some people take forever to launch and others roll up and hit the water in a matter of minutes. The only complaint I have, and it is a minor one, is that almost everyone who launches pulls their kayaks to the left side of the screen so you don't see them actually launch. There must be smoother water on that side and I guess I'll find out when I get to launch myself. I would just like to see the launch so I can tell what the kayakers are dealing with. Great picture though.

at the top of all the screens is a tool bar, starts out with forum, a few choices over is LJ Webcam, click on it, you may have to add Active X to see it. You will be prompted to load it if you do.

angle of cam

It's not any smoother to the left it's just the way the camera is set up. It angles across the launch, so when one get close to he water they walk out of the frame, especially at low tide.
They are actually going straight out from the launch, it just looks like they are going to the left.

okay, it's too bad because I think it would be entertaining to see some of the launches. I've also noticed that when the camera is in IR mode there is something to the left of the screen, it might be a spider web. I keep looking for it in normal mode but it isn't there.
