Download Fish Alerts app. It will show you where you are in relation to the MLPA boundaries so you know when it's safe to fish.

When your almost to the kelp, line up the palm tree with the flag pole( look up and too the left at LJ) or just wait for lobster season because the lobster pots will be lined up on the border.
