me and 2-stix went out of Gaviota that same morning, we made bait real quick at first light the greenies were all over and we filled up before 6:30.
Trolled around all morning even went offshore quite a ways, we both landed a few nice bonito and lost several. Also had quite the interesting encounter with a couple of hammerheads...lets just say they really like bait tubes and bumpin yaks. my solution.......just hook the hammerhead on your greenie and let him tow you around for a few hundred yards, its a lot of fun! no WSB, though we heard the school moved farther north..... |
