Spanked again, 6-26-15
Started on the buoy line like always. I got a few bites, but no takers. Moved to the main channel and got a quick 3. Took the rest of the day to pull 5 more. All fish came from the channel edges. Not even a bite between the boats for me. Steve finished with 14. At one point he got 4 fish on one drift. Best bait for me today was the 3" Flurry in Fire Avocado on a 3/8oz Warbait Slayer head. Also, the Brown and Orange jig took a couple. Hot Sauce was used for flavor, of course. As always, I had fun fishing with Steve and I must thank him for being my Sherpa. He pulled my yak halfway back to the car due to my gimpy arm. Thanks, Steve. P.S. I've only had a color FF for about 6 months. What do Red Crab look like on it? Red with purple or blue (I'm color blind) outline? This week and 2 trips ago at Mission I saw big red blobs with a purple (I think) outlines on the meter. At Mission I did see Red Crab in the same area. None spotted today, though I saw the same marks on the FF.

There were a bunch of crab outside MB right before the kelp line. Didn't see any offshore but in a few spots the sonar was loaded with small dots about 60 ft. down I'm guess were crab.
