Buddha, 2 piece rods can be broken down and stored in the front hatch. Otherwise 1 piece rods stored on the deck for launches/landings.

wow
that's the same set up I want when I get the reload in July how hard is it to reinforce with the plastic board does it not add quite a bit of weight to the kayak mate very well done ,
