Crazy day

I'll keep this short since no one will believe me on what fish i saw.
launched just after sunrise, saw a million kayaks and boats, packed away a dozen macs, trolled trolled trolled trolled dropped on a rockfish pile trolled trolled trolled than stumbled upon some colorful visitors from south of the border smashing some bait on the surface, jumping and just going crazy. Didn't have a iron on so tried casting my rockfish rig, birdsnest... Than my flylined mac gets slammed, took off like a train right up to the point when my knot broke Whatever took my mac was owning my boss accurate reel so I'd say it was big. Can't wait to try again. I need to get me a go pro and a jig stick

Nota tuna, more colorful, although it may have been a tuna which took my mac but who knows. I saw someone got the right kind, and I didn't flip so wasn't me. Although I did jump out of the yak too soon. Was chest high and got over my waders and slightly got my shirt wet When landing

Was out there today too, saw so much bait hitting surface and cast into it with the iron but nothing, didn't see anyone on anything only the occasional rockfish, was curious if anyone got any.
