Hacks

I found it a little interesting today when I read an email from BWE, warning me that someone had tried to log into my account here, and failed, in fact, so many times that the system locked them out, for a little while anyway.

Anyway, thanks for the heads-up BWE. I don't know if this is isolated to me, or if something that all of us should be looking out for.

You can ask BWE to give you the Ip address where the failed attempts were comming from, then you can track the address via the IP address. Just a bit more leg work.

Thanks Frank, They did provide the IP, and I know I can track it, to within a certain distance.

Whoever tried hacking Bubble's acct...ARE YOU FREAKING CRAZY? Yeah, this mofo can track you, hang you upside down in his green wilderness condo, skin you, chop your arse up and shove you into his wood burning stove never to be seen or heard from again. Might even put your jewels into his chowder pot. RUN...RUN AWAY NOW. You've been warned pal. Jim

For all the good it delivers, the mighty Net is one crazy place.
Everything connected to it is constantly being probed, all the time.

Always use complex password!
Change it periodically!

Or next thing we'll be reading spam bot crap posted from your account.
