50% off on Shimano Terez Rods

I just ordered this rod. http://www.americanlegacyfishing.com...tzsw80msr.html

I called and the specs are incorrect on the website. It has a line rating of 20-50 and not 15-30. A good deal!

Pair that with a Penn Conquer from Fisherman's Factory Outlet and you would have a nice Yellowtail setup.

That is a great price for that rod. I bought one last year (white) for the full $250.00 and it's my favorite bass rod. It's the rod that's recommended by Shimano for the Curado 300EJ reel, which is what I have it paired with. I might have to pick up another...

It doesn't come with the lifetime warranty anymore like they did last year, which is why I spent that much on a rod. This is a good price without the warranty though.

I wish they would make the curado 300 ej in left handed. Honestly I have been trying to trade my trinidad 16 for a left handed reel with no takers so far.

Actually, it IS 15-30 lb rating

I ordered one of the terez's based upon this thread. Just arrived from American legacy today. It is in fact 15-30 lb rating as stated on website. Printed on rod clear as day. Still a killer deal on super nice rod. It is medium power, fast action, 7' 6" terez w alum rod seat n super nice guides. I got black one. In my opinion this wud b comparable to med-lite calstar blank. Just didn't want others to buy hoping to get diff line rating. I'm not sure if I'll keep it. Prob not. Got too many rods in that class. If u want this rod shoot me pm. I'll sell it for what I paid. I think they still hav more as of yesterday so u cud also buy from American legacy online as well

I bought this rod and on the label it said 20-50 lb. rating.

http://www.americanlegacyfishing.com...tzsw80msr.html

The weird thing about this rod was that the reel seat was so narrow that I could not fit any reel inside it, it had maybe less than 1/4 inch of room.

They immediately sent me a return label from Fed Ex so the drama continues. They said that they are getting more rods in right now.

Different rod

Hmm. I guess I ordered a different rod. Mine is a conventional rod and I see you bought a spinning rod. The one I ordered was also a more expensive retail price. It was half off $320. The reel seat on mine is fine. I just dropped a saltist 50h in to be sure- no problem. Could put any standard reel or bait-caster. Still not sur if I'm gonna keep it. It's nicer than my other rods in that weight class but i really don't need another.

A Terez tczw-80m Braid 20-50lb Power Med. Ex Fast is a waxwing w cork grip
A tzc 80M Braid 30-65 Power Med. Fast that's the casting conventional with the black grips
Different reel seats.
I used a dremel on my waxwing to get a bit more penetration into the reel seat.
Not saying you should but that's what I did.
