Tony's right...........just a few weekends ago we were out and starting scanning around for bait.
1st school of bait..........nada, not even a nibble 2nd school of bait..........they must have been related to the first school of bait 3rd school of bait...........picked one up and just as quick as i was able to dehook it the school was gone. We ended up making enough bait to get us through the day but it was tuff to get it. One suggestion I can make is to troll the sabiki a few yard back behind while you're looking for the schools. Every so often you'll snag a loner, do that a few times and before you know it you'll have enough bait to start fishing. Personally, I don't wait until I have a ton of bait, my first two baits get pinned on and I start fishing right where the schools are, you'd be surprised how often I've gotten hit when I did that.
