68yrs. Kayak 1-2x/wk and swim 1mi 2-3x/week so I can keep up with my older fishing buddies that outlast me w fishing & hooping! Eating a lot of fish & taking a lot of naps ought to give me another 10-15 yrs?

I'm 25 but definitely had my share of injuries. Lost count on the breaks and fractures. Ruptured L5 S1, canal stenosis. My last injury got me under the knife for the first time. Inguinal hernia. These injuries were what made me get out of racing dirt bikes and into fishing on kayaks. The injury I'm worried about the most is the RA that runs in my family. Both my dad and his brother are plagued by this one so I'm definitely hoping I don't see that. No matter what injuries I sustain from now on through, it would have to be very debilitating to stop me from kayak fishing.

65, been Yakfishing LJ most Saturdays since 01. With a few physical issues, I'm a bit more conditions selective now. Started fishing SO Cal waters in 1954 and really don't want to stop.
Hang in there and good luck,
Ed

39, had knee surgery for stepping wrong with a heavy rucksack on, took shrapnel to the shoulder and shattered a couple bones in my hand when I missed the guys face and hit the wall. Yes, the body hurts after a long day paddling but when you put forth the effort, the universe rewards you.

√(1936) and overweight, but years of cycling keep me moving at good pace on a Hobie. Its seems like every year I go out it gets harder and harder, but its gonna be a while before I quit.

I'm 44, lots of aches and pains from a parachuting accident, but it seems like a lot of guys have it worse than me. I got a Hobie so I get around fine. Can't wait til I get my first big hook up!

Ummm...wow...a "good" friend just reminded me, I'm 53 not 52. One doesn't need enemies when they have friends like this person...Jim

So then I missed your birthday, just to make up for that I've got a new pair of short green BOOTS set aside for you. Happy belated birthday.
