Ok, I'll get a little nerdy. Quick math says that battery should last about 23 minutes of hard use under maximum load (~25a) on the puller. I doubt you are continuously loading the puller that hard, so it should last much longer under normal use.

Puller?
According to the Scotty catalog it pulls at 120' a minute. The ropes i generally use for Crab are about 125' long...so it takes about a minute for the machine to pull them up.
I hope that helps the numerically minded... I never thought of it like that before...all that work to get out there and then about an hour and a half soak time on the nets and then the time traveling back in...all that effort for three to six minutes of actual net pulling.
