Parking near La Jolla launch with a trailer
I normally transport my PA14 on a trailer. Does anyone know if there are any designated parking spots for vehicles with trailers in the La Jolla Shores beach parking lot? Besides that, I wonder how much luck I will have finding parking for a large vehicle with a trailer really early in the morning on the street. Chris |

If you have wheels for your PA, park in the lot about 100 yards north of the launch - there are always some trucks/trailers parked in there. I don't know if they're designated spots or if they just park across multiple spaces.
I don't have a trailer (I car-top) and I always park in that lot. I think it's more-convenient (and safer for your car) than street parking. |

Yeah the parking lot north of the grass field is where you want to go. Park along the curb closest to the street inside the parking lot. Really busy like mentioned above later in the morning. I went there this morning, on a Thursday of all day. It was easy parking at 8:30 (should get there latest by 6:30 or 7 on weekends), and people were lined up stalking anyone who looked like they were about to leave the parking lot at noon.
