glad it was a lesson learned and not anything worse...

"Kiyo" (the legend) shared some simple wisdom with me after i had an incident that i'll pass on to you all... if your hull has a serious amount of water in it, and you have a pump intake that drags in the water, take your pump line and pull it out of its connection to the bait tank and put it the pump end into the hull and let it pump the water out of your kayak... simple. i suppose with so many through-hull pumps this may not work for some, but it could be the answer for others in need... it would have helped me if i knew about it...
