RAM warranty service feedback
There was a small area where the powder coating appeared to be separating from the metal but it looked fine otherwise. Over time, years really, the coating started to separate away till it eventually started peeling off in chunks. Not only was the base affected but the clamp as well. It didn't really phase me and it still functioned properly, it was just aesthetically an eyesore. While looking into additional RAM components for my new Fishfinder I recently purchased, I come to find that RAM has a lifetime warranty on their products. So I sent an email to RAM with the following pictures of my 'eyesore FishFinder mount'. They contacted me within an hour of receiving my email and requested a credit card number so they could bill me for the shipping. A cost of $3. 2 days later, I received my replacement mounts. Awesome, awesome service. If you opt to buy a RAM product, buy with the confidence that it is made in America and they stand behind their products.

Where was this a few months ago. Story of my life. Day late and a doller short. Oh well, I am sure I'll be using this in the future as I have quite a few ram products.
