I've got the Elite 7 HDI mounted on my pro-angler.
Things I like: big LED screen lower power draw than my old Humminbird 385ci, so longer battery life good menus, lots of ways to tweak the picture just right 83/200/450/800 transducer works with Hobie's Lowrance Ready system Dislikes: Bulky, takes up a lot of space inside my hatch when launching/landing Screen protector not included Will need a software update right out of the box, requiring a micro-SD card between 512mb and 1 Gb. Downscan - I haven't spent the time to get it dialed in yet, but as configured from the factory it's worthless where I fish Overall, I'm satisfied with my purchase. It has the features I wanted without the excessive features of the other large screen models. Honestly I think it was specifically designed with the serious kayak angler in mind. The resolution on the screen is very good, I have no problem seeing my own baits/sinkers.
