Good idea to start in the harbor until you get the feel of your new yak and are very comfortable before heading out to open water. |

I fish most Mondays (sometimes Tuesday instead), probably not this week though. How about next Monday? What kayak do you have? Have you been out on a yak before?

I was looking to fish the Pipe. But, I wouldn't be comfortable taking you out there in a small sit inside, at least at this point. Newport and Huntington are really slow right now. But, Newport would be a good place for you to get used to your yak and have a shot at some fish. So, maybe we could hit Newport next week.
