Comparable in speed and effort to the Mirage drive. The circular motion of pedaling is a little more leg movement. There are some cool benifits to reverse, like keeping from bumping into boats when you hook a fish, just back pedaling to hold your position. The tracks make rigging really easy. The seat is right up there in comfort with the rest of that style. The Slayer falls in between the Outback and the Pro Angler IMO in what it offers and seems to be priced right between there too at $2399.

I have yet to take this in the ocean, I know it will handle rough seas as SD Bay is often rougher than open water and it was just fine there handling those big boat wakes. Need to do a surf launch and landing.
