Which bay for tomorrow Mission or SD?

Ready for my maiden voyage finally. Want to go tomorrow in the worst way. I want to try a bay for my first time out. Which one of these two would you recommend? Which will give me the best opportunity to pop my cherry at? Or if anyone else is going out tomorrow. Either one of these places or somewhere else. That would not mind a first timer following them around let me know. I just want to get out and finally experience kayak fishing.

Mission is less hectic. Drag sardines around the bridges and channel openings. Throw plastics also. Good luck

There will be a big outgoing tide tomorrow.

The back bay of San Diego would be a good bet.

If you have ghost shrimp even better and you could get a bonefish.

Lately I have getting halibut and corvina too and tons of spotties.

It is almost never crowded with other boaters and it feels like you own the place.

I can't count how many times I am the only guy out there.

Great place to start and be in beautiful and calm conditions for the first time.

Mission Bay and San Diego Bay from the bridge north will be much congested.

I am going out tomorrow at J Street in Chula Vista.

I'll be launching at shelter island also, black nissan frontier, grey xfactor. Am trying to figure launch time so I can drift out with the tide to the bait barge and scoot across to the jetty then have incoming tide bring be back in again. Have some frozen squid thawing for the ride out to the bait barge, let the current do the work, targetting the flat kind.

Update on tides...
Low at 12:14pm, so am thinking launch at around 10:30am or so, drift out to bait barge dragging / bouncing squid until I get a scoop. Then continue out until incoming brings back to about opposite shelter island.
