Fly Fishing

I usually hit the Eastern Sierra's for trout a couple times during the season.
Using a fly rod has peaked my interest.Been fishing my whole life but know
nothing bout fly gear.

Anybody try it off the yak for trout?
Any advice on gear to use(rod size, reel, line).

My thought is theres a lot of stuff on the yak for the line to get tangled on?

Thanks for any input/Ron

If you live in San Diego the SD Fly Fishing Club holds a free fly fishing casting class every Sunday at Lake Murray.

They would be able to help you with any questions and you would get good instruction on casting.
